This system is for asset management. It is an asset tracking and maintenance system that uses barcode printers and scanners to accurately log the data. It is very flexible and and adapts to your current practices yet automates the process with schedules, movement records and detailed analysis of your assets. Single payment for software and hardware, no annual licence fees.
Part of asset management is scheduling audits. This means defining when they need checking and then setting audit intervals. The audit will give you information about the following and enables you to take quick action when a problem is identified.

- Cost and depreciation
- Life expectancy
- Maintenance carried out
- Current owner and location
Issues To Employees
Each time company property is issued to an employee, whether its a phone, laptop, sales kit, samples, tools or anything else, a simple scan of the items barcode will register it to that persons location. Similarly on return of the items a second scan logs it back in to the company care. This means that at a glance you can see exactly who has got what and where it is. Signatures can be captured with signature pads.
Asset management also involves maintaining the asset. The word “asset” can also cover buildings and property and the Locator system records maintenance and health and safety checks throughout the site. A system of tests and checks is added to each item whether its a machine like an air conditioner or photocopier, or a whole buildings safety compliance or routine cleaning records. The records are collected with the PDA and detailed reports run to provide records of the checks.
The software for both label printing, PDAs and signature capture pads is free and included in the PC software. The PDAs can be Android or Windows mobile although Windows is no longer supported by Microsoft. Any label printers with a Windows driver can be used – Zebra, Cab, Epson, Datamax, Intermec, TSC and many others

Exporting your data
All your reports can be exported to your own system. All the reports have this same header. The Save option enables you to save as an Excel file or pdf. The search option on the right searches through the report just produced. Importing your data
No need to worry about the laborious task of getting your data onto the system. Locator will bring in your spreadsheets or database. Your existing or revised data can be imported from a spreadsheet or csv file. The Locator import templates are specifically written to integrate Excel worksheets and matching columns to fields. The import process can be reused to update the Locator database with new details of personnel or items or add new records. Searching the reports
A series of filters defining, recipients, item codes, senders, date range and location parameters enables you to refine the reports narrowly. If the filters still provide too much information then the search option will find the exact record you are looking for within the reports taking you to the line entry directly.
